An automotive sector company dedicated to product design and development, as well as engineering services, is seeking ***Volkswagen Silao Motors Materials Planner***; **REQUIREMENTS** * Education: High school diploma, University Technical Degree, Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Age: 20\-30 years old. * Experience in the industry. * Knowledge of SAP system. * Automotive industry experience preferred. * English proficiency preferred. * Employment type: Fixed-term **Responsibilities** Ensure timely supply of domestic and imported materials, guaranteeing operational continuity through proper inventory planning, logistics coordination, and compliance with applicable customs procedures and Incoterms. **Responsibilities** * Ensure supply of materials and components for production or technical development. * Coordinate with domestic and international suppliers for on-time and in-full deliveries. * Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking. * Manage purchase orders in ERP (SAP). * Track domestic and international shipments. * Coordinate import and export processes with customs brokers. * Ensure documentary compliance in foreign trade operations (customs declarations, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.). * Apply and validate purchasing terms under current Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.). * Control transit times and logistics costs. * Generate logistics status reports and supply KPIs. * Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * Conduct physical and system-based inventory audits and controls. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience at Volkswagen. * Availability to join immediately. **Competencies** * Strategic planning * Results-oriented mindset * Supplier negotiation * Data analysis * Organization and follow-up * Problem solving Employment type: Fixed-term **Benefits:** * Cafeteria service * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers * Hybrid work arrangement: 50% remote, 50% on-site * Work location: On-site at Volkswagen Silao Motors plant / Remote work Employment type: Full-time Salary: $16,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Life insurance Work location: On-site employment
