Production Manager

Description

**Education:** * Industrial Engineering degree in the Manufacturing sector. * A diploma or master's degree in senior management or a related field is desirable. **Experience:** More than 5 years of experience in strategic management of manufacturing plants. **Job Objective:** Ensure comprehensive plant operations through strategic management of resources, quality, costs, safety, and talent, guaranteeing operational efficiency, compliance with quality standards, cost optimization, and sustainable development of suppliers and work teams. **Required Skills:** Industrial cost control, Supply chain management, Industrial safety, Management of operational KPIs, Project management knowledge, Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015\), Process design and implementation methodologies, ERP system knowledge, Human talent management, TPM, Lean manufacturing certification, People management, Problem-solving methodologies. **Main Responsibilities:** * Define and manage objectives and projects based on strategic planning. * Validate production plans against installed capacity, layout improvements, processes, or methods. * Manage business unit resources. * Evaluate and monitor supplier development. * Manage quality indicators: returns, deviations, losses, etc. * Ensure implementation of quality controls. * Execute action plans and corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with internal and external audits. * Manage costs, review actual vs. standard costs. * Analyze raw material consumption, identify waste and overcosts. * Implement cost-saving initiatives. * Validate the economic impact of process changes. * Manage strategic KPIs and business unit budgets. * Present results to management; escalate critical issues to Plant Management. * Implement controls and prevent problem recurrence. * Establish follow-up routines (follow-up meetings and results). * Ensure compliance with procedures and standards. * Resolve inter-departmental conflicts. * Monitor compliance with regulations, laws, and bylaws. * Responsible for generating Kaizen improvements within the business unit. * Ensure standardization of best practices. * Manage business unit projects using the PDCA methodology. * Supervise access and surveillance controls; review incidents and prevention plans. * Validate safe operating conditions; coordinate safety audits. * Develop leaders; monitor team competencies and training plans. * Evaluate team performance; implement Riverline culture. * Monitor workplace climate and organizational discipline. **Work Location:** Col.
