Job Overview: Technician responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Education: Completed technical degree in maintenance or related field. Experience: 3 years in a similar position, and/or 5 years in technical support within an injection molding company. Knowledge: * Maintenance of Plastic Injection Molding Machines. * Maintenance and operation of Peripheral Equipment used in the Plastic Injection Molding Process. * Electromechanics. * Hydraulics. * Pneumatics. * Electrical control. * PLC. * Experience in troubleshooting technical issues with injection molding machines or auxiliary equipment. * Use of software for equipment maintenance management. * Oil leak control. * Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). * Use and handling of chemicals. * Handling of hazardous waste.
