WE ARE SEEKING: **PRESS OPERATORS** FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING OPERATORS **Job Objective** Operate, adjust, and control flexographic printing machines to ensure print quality, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to established production timelines—achieving minimal waste under safe working conditions. **Responsibilities and Functions** * Prepare flexographic printing machines (plate mounting, roller adjustment, ink preparation). * Conduct print tests and adjust parameters (pressure, viscosity, substrate tension, color registration). * Execute the production plan according to assigned orders. * Monitor quality during the process and make immediate corrections. * Report deviations and coordinate with the quality department for product release. * Perform cleaning of rollers, anilox cylinders, ink pans, and work areas per procedures. * Record production data (ink consumption, machine time, waste). * Ensure proper handling of inks, solvents, and materials. * Comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations. **7. Responsibilities** * Efficient and safe operation of the flexographic press. * Compliance with customer-specified printing requirements. * Minimize material waste and downtime. * Maintain the machine and associated accessories under one's responsibility in good condition. * Adhere to quality, safety, and cleanliness (5S) procedures. * Promptly report technical or process failures. * Safeguard assigned consumables (inks, plates, substrates). **8. Required Profile** * **Education:** Technical high school diploma, technical degree in graphic arts, industrial maintenance, or related field. * **Experience:** 2–3 years as a press operator or assistant in flexographic printing. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Operation of flexographic printing machines and printing processes. * Properties of inks, solvents, and substrates. * Adjustment of printing parameters (viscosity, pressure, registration, tension). * Quality control procedures in printing. * **Competencies:** * Attention to detail and precision. * Discipline and adherence to procedures. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and commitment to quality. * Ability to work under pressure. * **Languages:** Not required (basic technical English for manuals is desirable). * **Availability:** Willingness to rotate shifts and work extended hours when required. Salary: $16,000.00 – $19,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
