**Automotive company located in Puerto Interior is seeking** **Tax Specialist A** **Position Objective** * Manage and coordinate processes related to VAT refunds with the SAT, ensuring compliance with tax requirements, proper file preparation, and timely receipt of requested refunds. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 1 to 2 years of experience in tax or accounting areas. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Experience handling VAT refund procedures with the SAT. * Desirable experience managing electronic audits or compensations. * Technical knowledge of the VAT Law, CFF, and Miscellaneous Tax Resolution. * Proficiency using the SAT portal (procedures and inquiries). * Review of XML files and accounting-tax reconciliations. * Advanced Excel and accounting software skills. **We Offer** * $24,000 to $28,000 monthly net. * Statutory benefits. * Major Medical Expense Insurance (starting from the 3rd month). * Savings Fund of 13%. * Grocery Vouchers of 10%. * $1,563 monthly fuel assistance. * Life Insurance equivalent to 26 months of salary. **Responsibilities** * Prepare and review VAT refund applications according to current regulations. * Compile work papers, attachments, and supporting documentation for refunds. * Reconcile tax returns (monthly and annual) with accounting records and CFDI. * Review DIOT, trial balances, and accounting schedules. * Respond to SAT requests and audits arising from refund applications. * Coordinate data upload and track procedures through the tax mailbox. * Generate progress and results reports on VAT refunds. * Maintain communication with other departments (accounting, accounts payable, treasury, import-export, legal) to gather required information. * Stay updated on legal and tax changes related to VAT and refunds. **Competencies and Skills:** * Attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility. * Analytical ability and critical thinking. * Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Proactivity in resolving SAT requests. **Location and Schedule** * Puerto Interior. * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
