




Leading company in its industry seeks a **CONTROLLER** **Purpose of the position:** Lead accounting and financial control, ensuring accurate information, regulatory compliance, and cost control, with an operational and strategic focus to support decision-making in an industrial and international environment. **Job responsibilities** * Oversee general accounting, production costs, and budgetary control of operations. * Prepare and analyze financial statements, as well as profitability reports by product line and cost center. * Implement, monitor, and ensure compliance with internal control policies and audit processes. * Analyze variances between standard and actual costs, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions. * Coordinate physical inventories, materials control, and reconciliations with the warehouse department. * Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and regulatory obligations (SAT, IMSS, STPS, among others). * Evaluate investments, maintenance expenses, and improvement projects from a financial perspective. * Support Management in financial planning, preparation of annual budgets, and cash flow control. **Required work experience** * Experience in industrial and service-sector companies. * Solid background in finance, accounting, or controlling. * Experience in industrial environments such as manufacturing, machinery, automation, or technical services. * Proficiency in general accounting, monthly closings, and cost control. * Experience in foreign trade, imports, and exports. **General knowledge:** * US GAAP principles. * Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) regarding revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany transactions, and consolidation. * Adjustments and reconciliations for multinational reporting. **Software:** * ERP systems: SAGE 100, SAP-type, Contpaq. * Advanced Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, Odoo or similar). **Key responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with Mexican NIF and alignment with US GAAP for corporate reporting. * Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury, including cash flow and bank reconciliations. * Optimize working capital (DSO, DPO, and inventories) and support commercial and procurement departments. * Perform intercompany reconciliations, comply with transfer pricing policies, and prepare reports for the corporate group. * Supervise costs, inventories, valuations, and profitability analysis by product or project. * Control fixed assets, depreciation, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting. * Evaluate investments and CAPEX, and provide financial support for strategic planning. * Implement internal controls, manage audits, and ensure tax and regulatory compliance. * Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and collaborate with operational departments. * Supervise and develop a small finance team. **Competencies:** * Analytical thinking and attention to detail. * Ability to operate both strategically and operationally. * Clear communication with local and corporate teams. * Focus on control, order, and continuous improvement. **We offer:** * **Schedule:** Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM * **Salary:** $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 * **Statutory benefits** * **Bi-weekly payment** Job type: Full-time Salary: $45,000.00–$55,000.00 per month Application question(s): * Which financial and working capital indicators have you directly managed (DSO, DPO, inventories, costs, CAPEX)? * Do you have experience applying US GAAP and reporting to international corporate entities?
