Position Summary: We are seeking a metrologist responsible for the measurement, analysis, and dimensional validation of plastic parts, molds, and injection processes to ensure quality. Participation in internal and external audits **POSITION**: Metrology Technician **EDUCATION**: Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree **DESCRIPTION**: We seek a metrologist responsible for ensuring accurate dimensional measurement, analysis, and validation of plastic parts, molds, and injection processes, guaranteeing compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: * Perform dimensional measurements of plastic parts (first article, production, validations). * Interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD\&T). * CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) * Vernier calipers, micrometers, comparators * Profile projectors / vision systems * Prepare dimensional reports (FAI, PPAP, capability studies). * Process capability (Cp, Cpk) * R\&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility) * Validate mold, parameter, or engineering changes. * Support production and quality teams in defect analysis. * Ensure calibration of measuring equipment. * Participate in internal/external audits. * PC\-DMIS programming DESIRABLE: Experience in **plastic injection** processes. * Drawing interpretation * Calibration control * GD\&T (ASME Y14\.5 or ISO) * CMM usage (software such as PC\-DMIS, Calypso, Mitutoyo, etc.) * Manual measuring instruments * SPC (Statistical Process Control) * Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC) * Knowledge of plastic materials and shrinkage * Quality standards (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949\) Employment type: Indefinite-term position Salary: $19,000\.00 \- $22,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Food vouchers Work location: On-site employment
