The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Java and/or .NET, proven team leadership, a forward\-thinking approach to AI\-augmented development, leadership experience in managing development teams, and familiarity with backend systems collaboration/integration. This role will require goal setting, leadership and cross\-functional collaboration across developers, product managers, operations, and QA to deliver high\-quality, scalable solutions with modern AI tooling integrated into every phase of the development lifecycle.**Job Description:** Team Leadership* Manage and mentor a team which will be a mix of Java, .NET and VB developers, ensuring optimal performance and growth. * Use AI tools to assist with code reviews, and champion AI\-powered test generation (unit, integration, regression) to increase test coverage. * Foster a collaborative and high\-performing team culture. * Project Management of Deliverables and On\-time Delivery. * Ensure Financial and Time Tracking is implemented to track Budget Guidelines and QSR's. Development* Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise\-level applications. * Ensure code quality, application performance, and scalability. * Address technical challenges and provide hands\-on guidance when needed. * Lead team adoption of AI coding assistants (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate feature delivery and reduce manual effort. * Drive AI\-assisted migration of legacy code to modern Java or .NET. * Integrate AI\-assisted development workflows into the team's SDLC. Project Management* Plan, prioritize, and manage development tasks to meet project deadlines and business goals. * Collaborate with product managers to define requirements and deliverables. * Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Backend Integration* Collaborate between the Batch Backend Team and frontend Java teams to ensure seamless integration between the parking enforcement application and backend batch services. * Understand backend APIs and contribute to the overall system architecture and future improvements in processing tickets Quality Assurance* Work with QA teams to establish robust testing strategies and ensure bug\-free releases. * Champion AI\-generated test case coverage to supplement manual QA efforts. * Support the team in addressing production issues and implementing fixes. Process Improvement* Identify areas for workflow optimization and implement AI\-powered automation where appropriate. * Stay updated on the latest development tools, trends, and AI capabilities to improve team output.
