Academic Qualifications and Experience * **Education:** Technician or Engineer in Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems, IT, Business Administration, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years in quotation, pre-sales, procurement, or technical support roles within the telecommunications or ICT sector. * **Knowledge:** Familiarity with network materials (fiber optics, structured cabling, antennas), data/voice services, and technical infrastructure. 2. Main Functions and Responsibilities * **Quotation Preparation:** Prepare detailed technical and economic proposals for clients. * **Unit Price Analysis:** Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs. * **Supplier Interaction:** Manage and request pricing from telecommunications equipment suppliers. * **Requirement Interpretation:** Translate clients’ technical needs into marketable solutions (network design, voice/data links). * **Follow-up:** Track submitted quotations to expand the customer portfolio and close sales. * **Technical Review:** Ensure quotations comply with technical and regulatory standards. 3. Technical Competencies (Hard Skills) * **Tool Proficiency:** Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas). * **Telco Knowledge:** Understanding of network infrastructure (FTTH, DWDM, routers, switches). * **Interpretation:** Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and material specifications. 4. Soft Skills * **Attention to Detail:** Critical to avoid errors in pricing and technical specifications. * **Numerical and Analytical Ability:** To calculate profit margins and analyze market trends. * **Results Orientation:** Focus on sales closure and profitability. * **Effective Communication:** Ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal technical teams. * **Organization:** Efficient management of multiple simultaneous quotations.
