We are currently recruiting personnel for the position of **Controller** in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. **Objective:** To be fully responsible for the accounting department; decision-making within the department. **CANDIDATE PROFILE:** * Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (tax, administrative-finance) * 5 years in a similar or equivalent position***1 year in the construction industry (essential)*** * Flexible working hours * Proficiency in specialized tools and systems: **Conta 2000, Office, Compaq, Web Browsers; Email; RP INTEGRAL Billing System** **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE FOR THE POSITION** * Personnel administration (team formation, objective-based work assignments; personnel selection; conducting supervision; ensuring compliance with Federal Labor Law (L.F.T.) and Internal Regulations (R.I.T.); internal control; performance evaluations; Identification of Training Needs (in coordination with HR) * Timely and effective internal customer service. * Internal Audit (internal control; ensuring compliance with policies; deviation prevention) * Application of Federal, State, and Municipal Accounting Standards * Tax Legislation * Customs Legislation (knowledge of documentation required for machinery and equipment imports: Customs Broker / Customs Entry Forms / Invoice) for accounting purposes (not for customs management). * Financial Legislation * Social Security Law (IMSS); Infonavit * Preparation and analysis of Financial Statements * Preparation of Managerial Accounting/Financial Reports * Reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable * Expense accruals * Bank reconciliations * Large-scale data handling * Monthly cost-center data analysis * Profitability analysis, identification of savings and investment opportunities; Pure leasing, payroll expense administration. * Tax payments * Compliance Opinions (SAT; IMSS; Federal and State authorities) * Surety bonds * Treasury (supporting administration of bank/private credit; supplier payments; payroll disbursement; handling procedures with financial institutions, both in-person and online; compliance with financial laws; compilation of accounting files and/or other required documentation, supporting evidence for materiality \*SAT) * Billing Version 4\.0 (XML; Addenda; Credit Notes; Cancellation Policies; Salaries and Wages; Settlements; Extraordinary Payments; * Government and Private Sector Estimates, Withholdings; Internal Control). * SAT Audits (collaborative work with Advisors – Individuals and Legal Entities –; Taxpayer Inbox) * Taxpayer Procedures and Services (SAT) * Coordination of Procedures at the Secretariat of Integrity \*Contractor Registry\* (Desirable) * Asset Administration * Accounting Software (Conta 2000\); Integrated ERP System. * Protection of Accounting and Financial Information (internal control) **REQUIRED ACTIVITIES FOR THE POSITION** * Deliver updated, complete, and verifiable financial statements on time. * Serve as liaison with external audit firms/tax advisors and follow up on observations raised. Act as the link between the accounting department and technical departments, as well as other existing departments within the group. * Collaborate with the Administrative Manager/Advisors to identify opportunities for cost control, profitability enhancement, and personnel administration within the department under their responsibility, thereby supporting the protection of economic, accounting, and financial interests. * Supervise, direct, and evaluate the work of accounting department staff. * Ensure proper performance by each team member and adherence to internal policies and internal work regulations. * Support implementation of updated financial and accounting information systems. * Self-taught and continuously updated in their field of expertise, including current State and National Laws/Regulations, and those applicable to the group’s business. **Compensation and Additional Benefits:** Monthly salary ranging from **$30,000\.00 to $35,000\.00 Net** **Statutory Benefits:** IMSS, Infonavit, Year-end Bonus, Vacation, Vacation Premium, Profit Sharing (PTU).
