You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to. **How you will contribute** To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit\-for\-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state\-of\-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. You will bring experience and knowledge in: * Project management skills * Leading to work effectively across cross\-functional teams and influencing stakeholders * Senior\-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines We are seeking an experienced and proactive Mechanical Engineer to supervise, design and optimize critical mechanical support infrastructure for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper implementation and compliance with standards for systems such as HVAC, water networks, fire protection systems, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), and washrooms, guaranteeing efficiency and safety around our production lines. Key Responsibilities * **Engineering Review:** Collaborate with electromechanical teams to review and validate mechanical system engineering designs, ensuring functionality and compliance. * **Management of Critical Systems:** Supervise and manage the design, installation and maintenance of systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), potable and hot water networks, wastewater treatment plants (WWTP), fire protection networks and washrooms. * **Standards Assurance:** Ensure all projects and work performed by external contractors strictly comply with the company’s established quality and safety standards and policies. * **Facility Design:** Actively participate in the design and layout of new industrial buildings, efficiently integrating required mechanical systems. * **Equipment Sizing and Selection:** Perform calculations and technical specifications for selecting equipment such as pumps, ensuring appropriate sizing for operational needs. * **Data Verification:** Analyze and verify existing technical data related to mechanical systems to identify opportunities for improvement, optimization or correction. * **Technical Documentation:** Maintain up\-to\-date technical documentation, drawings and diagrams for mechanical systems under your responsibility. Requirements Education and Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in industrial, manufacturing or facility management environments. * Demonstrated experience with HVAC systems, water networks (potable, hot), WWTPs and fire protection systems. Technical Skills* Advanced proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, for mechanical drawing design and review. * Solid knowledge of Project Management. * Practical experience in pump, piping and other mechanical system component sizing and selection. * Familiarity with applicable mechanical system codes and regulations (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.). * Ability to interpret and develop P\&ID diagrams.
