Data Analyst and Automation Specialist (SQL / Excel / BI)

Job Summary: This position focuses on analyzing, transforming, and automating data to generate strategic reports that improve business decision-making and communication with suppliers. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for data extraction and analysis from ERP and SQL Server. 2. Automation of operational and commercial reporting and processes. 3. Creation of strategic dashboards and automated information delivery. Location: Boca del Río / Veracruz Work Mode: On-site or hybrid **Job Objective** Analyze, transform, and automate information from the company’s ERP and databases to generate strategic reports on inventory, sales, and product movement. The goal is to enhance business decision-making and automate information delivery to suppliers. **Main Responsibilities** Data Extraction and Analysis Extract information from SQL Server databases and ERP systems. Build SQL queries to analyze inventory, sales, costs, and promotions. Analyze product movement and turnover by customer, brand, and warehouse. **2. Process Automation** Automate the generation of operational and commercial reports. Develop scripts or processes to eliminate repetitive manual tasks. Schedule automated information-generation processes. **3. Reporting and Dashboards** Create automated reports for: Inventory by warehouse Product turnover Sales by customer and channel Movement by supplier or brand Active promotions Margin and profitability **4. Automated Information Delivery** Automate report delivery to suppliers. Generate files in Excel or CSV format. Automate file uploads to FTP / SFTP servers. Schedule periodic information delivery (daily, weekly, or monthly). **5. Continuous Improvement** Optimize SQL queries and data extraction processes. Propose improvements to report and analysis structures. Support the implementation of Business Intelligence tools. Technical Requirements (Mandatory) Experience working with SQL (queries, joins, aggregations). Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, Power Query). Experience in report automation. Database management experience. Experience analyzing commercial or inventory data. Desired Technical Skills Automation using Python or VBA. FTP / SFTP usage for automated file uploads. Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools. Scheduling automated tasks (Task Scheduler or similar tools).
