




Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to lead and coordinate environmental conservation and restoration projects, designing and implementing mangrove ecosystem monitoring plans and supervising field activities. Opportunities for professional growth and development. **REQUIREMENTS:** 1\. Degree in Forestry Engineering, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, or related fields. 2\. Proven experience in managing and coordinating conservation or environmental restoration projects. 3\. Knowledge of forest ecosystem monitoring, including: forest structure, mangrove biophysical variables, topographic surveys, among others. Ability to thrive in collaborative, non-hierarchical environments. 4\. Experience in forest inventories, including sampling protocol implementation, measurement of variables (DBH, height, canopy cover), and species identification. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Design and implement the mangrove ecosystem monitoring plan, ensuring alignment with the VERRA methodology. 2\. Plan and conduct field monitoring, supervising sample collection, storage, and management. 3\. Train BlueMX’s technical team on sampling methodologies and data conservation practices. 4\. Supervise and coordinate field activities, ensuring compliance with the project’s scientific and technical standards. 5\. Establish and manage databases for storing and analyzing field-generated information. 6\.
