Collaborate across departments to complete designs and drawings. **POSITION SUMMARY** The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing mechanic system of air handler units, plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria applied to HVAC units, Data Centers and any Mechanical design related to the company. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices. * **RESPONSIBILITIES** Typical duties will include but not limited to preparation or modification of the following: * Utilize CAD software for 2D \& 3D design * Create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies from both 2D and 3D data * Design 3D sheet metal parts and welded structural steel frames * Works on projects of limited scope and complexity * Open to participate in all internal activities and projects in the company. * Prepares design specifications, analyses, and recommendations * Collaborates with other departments to complete design and drawings * Modify existing engineering designs. * Handling of information via PLM system. * Create and edit parts in all internal software. * Prepare structures for the factory shop floor following our Manufacturing and Standard constructions related to the product. * Generate and maintain bill of materials. * Prepare work instructions and standard work documents. * Provide factory shop floor support. * Provide support to Service Department.
