




Position Summary: We are seeking a PCBA rework technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair SMT components, maintaining high quality standards and suggesting continuous improvements. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in PCBA rework and troubleshooting of PCB issues 2. Responsible for inspection, diagnosis, and repair of components 3. Focus on continuous improvement and maintaining order **1\. Education** * **Minimum (Required):** High school diploma, vocational high school, technical degree in Electronics, or incomplete technical degree. * **Preferred:** Certification in **IPC\-610** or **J\-STD**. **2\. Experience and Knowledge** * Prior work experience in **PCBA rework** (Required). * Knowledge of repair techniques and ability to diagnose complex PCB issues (Required). * Proficiency with tools and equipment: rework stations, soldering stations, component removal tools, and microscopes (Required). * Compliance with quality standards (Required). * Problem-solving and diagnostic skills (Preferred). * Availability to work different shifts. * Ability to remain seated for most of the time (as required by operations). * Exposure to moderate noise levels and temperature fluctuations. * **Primary Responsibilities and Roles** * **Inspection and Diagnosis:** Identify defects in components or PCBs and perform root cause analysis. **Organizational Structure** * **Reports to:** Rework Supervisor. * **Direct reports:** None. * **Authority Level:** Authorized to decide whether a part is repaired or replaced, following company guidelines. * **Repair:** Correct failures in surface-mount technology (SMT) products by reworking, replacing, or repairing components to restore optimal operational condition. * **Recording and Reporting:** Log received defective parts, repair actions taken, time spent, and test results. Report recurring failures to the Supervisor. * **Continuous Improvement:** Suggest methodologies or changes to increase efficiency and reduce non-productive time. * **Order:** Maintain a clean and organized repair area.
