Description and details of responsibilities **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1 Assist in developing training and communication programs to promote good safety practices and raise staff awareness. 2 Maintain updated records and documentation related to safety. 3 Ensure correct implementation and updating of on-site safety procedures. 4 Conduct fire extinguisher inspections and controls. 5 Carry out and ensure the proper process for issuing PPE. 6 Monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels of PPE and work tools. 7 Assist in developing new programs and procedures as required. 8 Prepare high-risk work permits (e.g., working at heights, electrical work, hot work). 9 Support implementation of safety, quality, and other corporate initiatives. Understand and apply the Quality Policy. 10 Support organizational change initiatives related to safety and hygiene, ethics code, BOE Values, and other sustainability programs. 11 Other responsibilities may be assigned occasionally based on departmental and company requirements and needs.
