Description

Job Summary: Responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies, managing the Environmental Management System, and coordinating environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe working environment. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure a safe working environment and regulatory compliance. 2. Develop and implement safety policies and training programs. 3. Manage the Environmental Management System and mitigate risks. Responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures to minimize accident risk and promote a safe working environment; as well as managing the company’s internal and external Environmental Management System (special/hazardous waste management, RENPRE, annual authorizations, etc.). Coordinate and supervise environmental operations to guarantee regulatory compliance, in addition to: * Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conducting periodic safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Organizing and conducting employee safety training programs, including emergency response drills. * Investigating and analyzing accidents, incidents, and hazardous situations to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Maintaining safety records, including incident reports, training documentation, and safety data sheets. Collaborating with management and department heads to develop and update safety protocols and procedures. * Conducting safety audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Conducting all necessary investigations, inspections, and studies to develop an effective environmental plan that meets or exceeds local and federal regulations. Ensuring compliance with the Environmental and Safety Management System. Anticipating potential environmental risks and assisting in their mitigation. * Assisting in developing the systems and regulations required to ensure compliance with local and federal legislation, as well as achieving corporate environmental objectives. Ensuring the environmental policy remains up-to-date and strictly followed. * Monitoring and protecting movable and immovable property, as well as individuals located within such premises. Performing identity checks at facility entrances or inside designated areas through external security guard services. Designing, implementing, and evaluating occupational health management systems. * Completing all necessary procedures for the company’s proper operation before municipal, state, and federal authorities.
