**Job Title:** Welding and Steel Quality Inspector – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) **Location:** León, Gto. · On-site · Full-time **Job Description:** A leading manufacturer of steel tanks for transformers is seeking a Quality Inspector specialized in welding and non-destructive testing (NDT). The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying the compliance of welding processes, materials, and metal structures, ensuring adherence to national and international standards (ISO, AWS, ASME). **Responsibilities:** * Perform visual inspections and non-destructive tests (VT, PT, MT, UT) on welded components and steel structures. * Validate welding procedures (WPS) and welder qualifications (WPQ). * Document findings, issue technical reports, and manage Non-Conformities (NCR). * Ensure material traceability and compliance with technical specifications. * Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to resolve deviations. * Participate in internal and external audits under ISO 9001:2015. **Requirements:** * Technical or Engineering degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Materials, or related field. * Current NDT certification (minimum Level II in VT and UT; PT and MT desirable). * Minimum 3 years of experience in welding and structural steel inspection. * Knowledge of AWS D1\.1, ASME, ISO 17635 standards. * Proficiency with measuring instruments and testing equipment. * Ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively with clients. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Benefits exceeding legal requirements. * Continuous training and certifications. * Professional and collaborative work environment. * Growth opportunities in projects with multinational clients. **Position Type:** Full-time **Salary:** Negotiable based on experience and certifications Job type: Full-time, Indefinite duration Salary: $12,000\.00 \- $15,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund Work Location: On-site employment
