




We are seeking a **Pathologist specialized in Anatomic Pathology**, responsible for macroscopic and microscopic analysis of biopsies and cytologies, issuance of histopathological diagnoses, and validation of reports, ensuring high standards of diagnostic quality, professional ethics, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities * Verify correct identification of biopsy and cytology samples. * Perform macroscopic description of samples. * Define histological, histochemical, and immunohistochemical processing techniques. * Analyze slides using optical microscopy. * Issue, dictate, and validate histopathological diagnoses. * Review and sign final reports to ensure clinical and administrative accuracy. * Document incidents (e.g., samples without formalin, artifacts, inadequate fixation). * Maintain professional communication with treating physicians when necessary. * Comply with internal protocols and current health regulations. Requirements – Academic Qualifications * **Medical Doctor (M.D.)**, with degree and professional license. * **Specialization in Anatomic Pathology** (mandatory). * **Subspecialization** (desirable but not required). Requirements – Knowledge * Diagnostic histopathology. * Cytopathology. * Histochemistry and immunohistochemistry. * Current diagnostic criteria in Anatomic Pathology. * Applicable health regulations. Requirements – Experience * Minimum of **3 years** of experience in histopathological diagnosis. * Demonstrable experience interpreting biopsies and cytologies. Requirements – Mandatory Documentation * Valid medical degree and professional license. * Specialty license in Anatomic Pathology. * **Valid professional liability insurance**.
