Participate in tenders and strategic commercial proposals **JOB DESCRIPTION – LOGISTICS PRICING ANALYST Position Title:** Pricing Analyst Logistics / Logistics Pricing Analyst **Department:** Logistics / Commercial / Pricing **Reports To:** Commercial Manager / Logistics Manager / Operations Director **Location:** León, Guanajuato **Suggested Salary:** $20,000 to $38,000 MXN monthly (based on experience and expertise in the logistics sector) **JOB OBJECTIVE** Analyze, calculate, and develop competitive rates for logistics and transportation services, ensuring profitability, commercial competitiveness, and control of operational costs. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepare quotations and rates for transportation and logistics services. * Analyze operational costs: freight, fuel, handling, tolls, and logistics expenses. * Design pricing strategies for customers and routes. * Update rates according to market behavior and operational costs. * Analyze profitability by customer, route, and business unit. * Coordinate with operations and sales teams to validate commercial proposal feasibility. * Monitor competitor pricing and logistics industry trends. * Generate financial/commercial reports and indicators. * Participate in tenders and strategic commercial proposals. * Maintain up-to-date database of rates and costs. **JOB REQUIREMENTS Education** Bachelor’s degree in: * Logistics * International Trade * Industrial Engineering * Administration * Finance or related field **Experience** * 2–4 years in pricing, logistics, transportation, or cost analysis. * Experience in land transportation companies, freight forwarding, courier services, or supply chain. * Desired: experience negotiating with suppliers and carriers. **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** * Logistics costing and transportation rate structures * Advanced Excel * Power BI (desirable) * Logistics and financial KPIs * Knowledge of national transportation routes * ERP / TMS / WMS * Margin and profitability analysis **KEY SKILLS** * Analytical thinking * Numerical aptitude * Negotiation * Strategic planning * Organization * Attention to detail **PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)** * Profitability per route and customer * Quotation accuracy * Operating margin * Rate response time * Commercial competitiveness * Reduction of logistics costs **PERSONAL COMPETENCIES** * Results-oriented * Problem-solving * Ability to work under pressure * Effective communication * Adaptability * Proactivity Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract Salary: $11,188.37 – $16,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
