Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** Position Title: Assembler Production Operator **Description:** Ensure area production goals by timely and proper execution of standardized work at their station, considering safety basics without compromising product quality standards. All of the above while maintaining an inclusive team-oriented work culture. The operator reports directly to the production supervisor with a direct line to the *team leader.* **Responsibilities:** Ensure production plan compliance by assembling components correctly, completely, and quickly according to product specifications. Execute activities described in their Standardized Work Instruction (SWI). Perform tasks in accordance with the Internal Work Regulations (RIT). Wear required personal protective equipment 100% of the time. Understand and provide feedback to upstream and downstream workstations regarding product defects and conditions. Perform TPM & crane checklist at the station. Ensure their workstation complies with 5S standards. Always follow rules and instructions provided by their team leader or production supervisor. Fully comply with all defined operational processes, scrap reporting, non-conforming material, near miss reporting, continuous improvement, etc. Report any anomalies occurring in their process or identified at their workstation to the production supervisor. Minimize material waste or loss; exercise maximum care when handling electronic/mechanical devices. **Authorities:** * Authorized to report and/or stop any activity identified as posing a risk to the safety of any person within the plant, whether employee, contractor, or service provider, as well as facility integrity. * Regarding quality, the employee has the authority to stop any process or work activity that could compromise product quality or customer requirements, whether in their own operation or in preceding or subsequent operations. **Basic and Desired Qualifications** o Previous experience desirable in assembly lines o Proficiency with basic hand tools o Basic computer skills o Desirable ability to interpret drawings and diagrams o Gender: Indifferent o Marital status: Indifferent **Required Competencies:** o Adaptability o Commitment o Flexibility o Initiative o Participation in improvement o Teamwork o Optimism o Willingness o Builds collaborative relationships
