Position Summary: Ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, and materials, complying with safety standards and regulations. Key Highlights: 1. General Information** * **Position Title:** Operational Driver * **Department:** Operations * **Reports To:** Deputy Operations Manager / Operations Manager * **Location:** Field / Operational Base / Regional Transfers **2. Position Objective** Ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of personnel, equipment, tools, and/or materials, complying with safety standards, applicable regulations, and company-specific operational guidelines. **3. Functions and Responsibilities** * Transport personnel to facilities, stations, or operational sites. * Transport equipment, spare parts, and materials required for operations. * Comply with industrial safety, health, and environmental (HSE) policies. * Conduct daily unit inspections (checklist) before and after each service. * Immediately report mechanical failures, incidents, or accidents. * Maintain assigned unit in optimal cleanliness and operational condition. * Adhere to established routes, schedules, and protocols. * Provide logistical support when required (basic loading/unloading). * Observe traffic regulations and internal client or site rules. * Maintain travel logs, fuel consumption records, and maintenance logs. **4. Position Requirements Education** * Completed junior high school or high school (preferred). **Experience** * Minimum 2–3 years as a driver, preferably in the industrial, energy, or oil & gas sector. * Experience driving on highways and/or difficult-access roads (dirt roads). **Knowledge** * Current traffic regulations. * Basic industrial safety procedures (HSE). * Use of logs and operational reports. * Preferred: knowledge of hazardous materials handling. **Licenses** * Valid driver’s license (type depending on vehicle: Class A, B, E, or equivalent). * Preferred: certifications in safe driving or HSE courses.
