This position is subject to a series of verifications, including criminal background checks and/or disclosures, to ensure program participants are protected. **About the Position** The selected candidate will aim to identify and follow up on needs of individuals in contexts of human mobility and reception who require priority attention within the Protected Pathway program. To achieve this objective, this role will pursue cross-cutting and collaborative work alongside other departments (legal, medical, educational, and psychology) to address protection needs or gender-based violence. Additionally, it will ensure that individuals requiring specialized services gain access to appropriate referral pathways. **Required Experience and Education** * University degree in Social Work, with professional license (**mandatory—only applicants holding a Social Work degree will be accepted**). * Experience working with migrants, refugees, and survivors of violence—including gender-based violence. * Knowledge of the needs of children, adolescents, and youth in contexts of human mobility. * Basic knowledge of psychological first aid. * Skill in conducting activities with children, adolescents, and adults. * Experience working along the care pathway for children, adolescents, and youth. * Capacity to provide non-stigmatizing care. * Basic practice in linkage and collaboration to access services in Mexico. * Skill in community participation and social fabric reconstruction. * General knowledge of migration regularization processes and procedures before the Mexican Commission for Refugee Assistance (COMAR), the National Institute of Migration (INM), and other protection systems. * Expressive fluency, clarity of ideas, and aptitude for working in emergency contexts and in teams. * Self-management capacity. * Proficiency in computer software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. * English language proficiency—or proficiency in other languages—is not mandatory but desirable. * **Please attach an updated CV with photograph.** **Key Responsibilities** * Case management for survivors of violence. * Development of informational materials for awareness-raising, prevention, and identification of various forms of violence (e.g., through talks and/or workshops). * Facilitation of psychosocial-interdisciplinary workshops and activities. * Facilitation of spaces promoting the construction of support networks. * Conducting intake interviews and identifying priority care needs (medical, psychological, legal counseling, food, hygiene). * Providing comprehensive care through communication, continuous follow-up, and joint work with medical, legal, and psychological teams. * Coordination with key stakeholders to identify and strengthen care protocols. * Accompaniment, jointly with the psychology team, in rebuilding short-term life plans for the population in Mexico. * Submission of reports and analysis of the served population to support improved program development and quality. * Contribution to data collection and activities required by the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. **Required Competencies** * Respect * Confidentiality * Empathy * Adaptability * Commitment * Effective communication * Expressive fluency and clarity of ideas * Teamwork aptitude * Self-management capacity * Decision-making ability in complex situations **ChildFund Core Competencies** * Being organized, methodical, and structured * Teamwork: the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others; valuing and respecting individual differences. * Communication: demonstrating empathy and tact when communicating with others, and using storytelling approaches where appropriate. * Results orientation: getting things done; taking proactive steps to meet organizational goals and quality standards. * Decision-making: applying sound judgment, critical thinking, and non-traditional approaches to assess problems and opportunities; reflecting and innovating to improve decisions and outcomes. * Resilience: thriving and growing in changing, demanding, and complex environments. * Digital literacy: adopting and promoting new technologies in relevant contexts, staying current with technology trends, and embracing technological solutions to business challenges. **Other Required Competencies** * Attention to detail * Capacity to coordinate with other stakeholders * Survivor-centered approach * Psychosocial approach * Gender approach * Stakeholder mapping for service access * Non-re-victimization * Accompaniment guided by the principle of “do no harm” **Safeguarding Policy, PSEA, and Child and Adolescent Protection** ChildFund is a nonprofit international organization focused on child and adolescent development in vulnerable communities.
