The role of the general helper is to support skilled personnel in the manufacturing, assembly, and repair of metal structures. Responsibilities include transporting materials, preparing tools, assisting with cutting, fitting and tightening fasteners, welding and cleaning, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area.
