*Ventus Global Logistics, founded in 1987, has over 30 years of experience in the international trade industry.* *Ventus began as a Mexican customs brokerage agency; however, over the years, it expanded its service offerings and established itself as a leading provider of international trade services, capable of delivering globalized solutions to top-tier industries in Mexico.* ***Customs Brokerage Agency seeks: Tariff Classifier*** **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field. * Knowledge of domestic and international logistics. * Minimum two years of verifiable experience in this position, with proficiency in the Mexican Tariff Schedule (TIGIE), the Customs Law, and the Non-Tariff Regulatory and Restrictive Measures Catalog (NICO). **Key Responsibilities:** * Assigning the correct tariff classification to imported and/or exported goods under the TIGIE for foreign trade purposes, verifying compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions, as well as eligibility for tariff preferences—applying the legal framework governing foreign trade. * Providing technical classification consultations to clients and/or Customer Service Representatives (CSRs). * Scanning preliminary entries in the Darwin system and on the official website. * Entering new part numbers notified and requested by CSRs. * Conducting meetings with clients to discuss classification criteria. * Assigning tariff classifications to new part numbers. * Requesting product technical information from Customer Service Representatives. * Identifying technical requirements needed to support tariff classifications. **Skills:** * Teamwork. * Leadership. * Proactivity. **We offer:** * Excellent work environment. * Professional growth.
