**About the role:**
Responsible for managing high\-volume commission transactions, billing operations within a full\-service insurance brokerage firm. This role ensures the accurate processing of commissions received from insurance carriers, timely invoicing of premiums and fees, and
reconciliation of financial transactions. The position plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting revenue cycle operations, and acting as the billing agent for multiple insurance carriers and vendors nationwide.
**Key Activities:**
* Collect commissions from insurance carriers (ACH transfers, deposits, checks).
* Post, allocate, and reconcile commission payments in the system.
* Act as the billing agent for assigned accounts.
* Generate and process invoices including premiums, taxes, and broker fees.
* Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all processed commissions.
* Interact with insurance carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
* Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and financial controls.
* Ensure timely and accurate billing cycle completion.
**Required Skills \& Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
* Mandatory billing and invoicing processing experience.
* Experience in high\-volume transaction environments.
* Insurance industry experience is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliation, data analysis, reporting).
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to multi\-task in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment.
* Self\-starter with the ability to work independently under limited supervision.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Problem\-solving mindset with ability to identify and correct discrepancies.
* Clear communication skills for vendor and carrier interaction.

**Schedule:**
* Regular (November – March): Monday to Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
* During Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. (March – November): Monday to Friday 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM

* Regular (November – March): Monday to Friday 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM
* During Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. (March – November): Monday to Friday 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
