**Installation Technician in Maintenance and Repair** **General Description:** Technical professional responsible for the installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as repair of electronic and security systems. Their work ensures the proper functioning of equipment and the operational continuity of installed systems, such as security cameras, alarms, and pedestrian and vehicle access controls. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Preventive maintenance:** Perform visual inspections, functional tests, and equipment checks to detect and prevent potential failures. * **Corrective maintenance:** Diagnose and repair system faults, such as signal loss, damaged cables, corroded connectors, or configuration issues. * **Repairs:** Disassemble, repair, or replace electrical, electronic, or mechanical components when necessary to ensure optimal system performance. * **Installation and configuration:** Install video surveillance equipment, alarms, sensors, and pedestrian and vehicle access control systems, ensuring proper and functional connections. * **System integration:** Carry out the connection and configuration of cameras as a complement to alarm and access control systems. * **Customer service:** Provide technical support, advise on the correct use of equipment, and report on maintenance or system upgrade needs. **Competencies and Skills:** * Knowledge of electricity, electronics, and structured cabling. * Proficiency with tools and measurement equipment. * Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems. * Fieldwork and attention to detail. * Proactive, responsible attitude, and service-oriented. **Desired Education:** * Technical degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, Systems, or related field. * Courses or certifications in security or CCTV system installation (desirable). **Experience:** * Minimum of 2 years in maintenance, installation, or repair of security systems, cameras, alarms, or access controls. **We Offer:** * Base salary * Statutory benefits from day one. * Sales commissions * Constant training in new security technologies. * Opportunity for growth to Technical Coordinator. * Tool assignment * Vehicle assignment Job type: Full-time Salary: $14,000.00 - $17,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite contract Work location: On-site employment
