Dynamic environment for learning new libraries. **Job Description** Within our technology team, we are looking for a **COBOL / Java Developer** with a modernization-oriented mindset. Your primary mission will be to serve as a technical bridge—maintaining the robustness of our mainframe processes while ensuring smooth communication with microservices through JSON-formatted data exchange. **What We’re Looking For (Technical Stack)** * **Mainframe Expertise:** Solid experience developing **Batch and Online (CICS)** processes using **COBOL**. * **z/OS Environment:** Proficiency with **JCL, TSO/ISPF**, and error handling in **Spool**. * **Modernization:** Experience developing with **Java** and handling **JSON** formats for cross-domain interfaces. * **Databases:** Ability to perform queries and modifications in **DB2**. * **Integration:** Consumption of **Web Services (REST APIs)** and use of testing tools such as **Postman**. * **Methodologies:** Experience working in **Scrum** teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Analysis, design, and execution of tests for Batch and Online processes. * Development of projects for data ingestion and mapping between COBOL and Java. * Maintenance of components and resolution of production process errors. * Ensuring software quality through non-regression testing and technical documentation. **Candidate Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or imminent graduation with verifiable completion). * **Knowledge:** Balanced expertise—50% in COBOL and 50% in Java. **What We Offer:** * **Real Impact:** Direct participation in high-impact projects. * **Growth:** Dynamic environment for learning new libraries. * **Compensation:** Statutory benefits plus additional perks. * **Location:** On-site work in Tlalpan, CDMX.
