Position Summary: We are seeking a 5-axis CNC programmer and operator to manufacture high-precision mechanical parts, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and supervise 5-axis CNC machines for high precision. 2. Program and operate CNC machines, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. 3. Perform basic maintenance, quality control, and production recordkeeping. **At Extrusiones Metálicas Group, we seek your talent as:** **CNC Programmer and Operator** **Position Objective** Operate and supervise 5-axis CNC machines to manufacture high-precision mechanical parts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality, safety, and established production timelines. **How Would You Contribute to the Team?** · Program and operate 5-axis CNC machines according to drawings, programs, and process sheets. · Mount and dismount workpieces, tooling, and clamping devices. · Perform basic CNC program adjustments (offsets, dimensional corrections). · Verify part dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.). · Interpret mechanical drawings, symbols, and geometric tolerances (GD\&T). · Conduct visual and dimensional inspections during and upon completion of the process. · Perform basic preventive machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, general inspection). · Report malfunctions, deviations, or maintenance requirements. · Comply with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (5S). · Record production and results in established forms or systems. **What Do You Need?** Position Requirements Education: · Technical degree in Machine Tools, Industrial Mechanics, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: · Minimum 2–3 years operating CNC machines, preferably 5-axis machines. Technical Knowledge: · Operation of 5-axis CNC machining centers. · Interpretation of drawings and tolerances. · Use of measuring instruments. · Metallic materials (steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.). · Basic knowledge of G- and M-codes (desirable).
