At Grupo Pan de Pala, we are looking for an expert professional in procurement to join our team as a Purchasing Analyst. Job Purpose: You will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and managing relationships with suppliers and the finance department, ensuring that every procurement process meets the organization’s quality standards while promoting the development of innovative and efficient purchasing concepts and methods. Key Responsibilities Supplier Management: Execute supplier onboarding, ensuring selection of the ideal partner and negotiating optimal commercial terms. -Purchase Cycle: Manage, release, and closely monitor Purchase Orders (POs) through our ERP system. -Administrative Control: Manage credit notes and maintain documentation control for all procurements. -Strategic Analysis: Conduct cost analysis, identify optimal purchasing options, and generate measurable savings for the organization. ------Logistics and Tracking: Coordinate delivery timelines and maintain constant communication with distributors and internal departments to ensure smooth material flow. Inventory Management: Analyze stock levels and monitor inventory to prevent stockouts or overstocking. Safety and Traceability: Collaborate with the quality department to ensure suppliers comply with quality and food safety standards, including traceability protocols and identification of packaging and raw materials to mitigate supply chain risks. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure contract management strictly adheres to negotiated terms and follows continuous improvement standards. Profile Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, International Trade, Business Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years of verifiable procurement experience (preferably in the food industry). Languages: Technical English (ability to read and understand manuals or contracts). Digital Tools: ERP proficiency (mandatory). Intermediate-level Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas). Intermediate-level Microsoft Office suite. Desired Competencies: Negotiation and financial analysis skills. Knowledge of logistics security protocols (OEA or C-TPAT alignment preferred).
