Job Summary: We are seeking a Cutter for a lumber company, responsible for maintaining the work area, operating machinery, and customer service, with emphasis on safety and cut quality. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the work area. 2. Operation of cutting machinery and supervision of processes. 3. Focus on safety and order, with proper use of tools. A lumber company is seeking a Cutter. Responsibilities: 1. First-line maintenance and cleaning. The latter must be performed several times throughout the day. 2. Provide customer service when operational needs require it. 3. Be responsible for the proper use of tools provided at the branch; in case of loss, the employee shall cover their cost. If replacement is needed due to normal wear and tear, request it through management upon exchange. 4. Keep the work area tidy and clear to prevent accidents and respect the designated storage area for cuts. 5. Ensure only authorized personnel enter the cutting area. Always wear the safety equipment provided by the company: boots, goggles, face masks, and safety belts; in case of loss, the employee shall cover their cost. If replacement is needed due to normal wear and tear, request it through management upon exchange. 6. Turn off cutting machine, air compressor, and dust extractor. Leave the work area clean. 7. Remain present in the assigned work area to perform duties; if absence is necessary, notify Branch Management. 8. Complete daily equipment logbooks, reporting failures and anomalies to Branch Management and direct supervisor, the Exit Auditor. 9. Verify that cuts and/or veneers are completed promptly, per instructions from the Exit Auditor. 10. Before commencing work, ensure the following: paid invoice, paid cuts and/or veneers, and customer-signed optimization document. 11. Supervise the veneering process, inventory integrity of veneers, and maintain sufficient stock of catalog items to deliver quality service. Continuously replace cutting discs to avoid chipping material. 12. Any other duties related to the position or operational requirements of the company. Note: This job requires physical effort, loading and unloading of merchandise. We Offer: - Weekly salary of $2800, including punctuality bonus + 10% attendance bonus + $100 productivity bonus.
