




Job Summary: Implement the health sciences learning model by managing infrastructure operations and supporting faculty development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Implement and supervise simulation in health sciences programs. 2. Support simulation activities and maintenance of medical equipment. 3. Manage resources and ensure availability of supplies for practical sessions. Simulation Coordinator (Temporary position for 3 months) Implement the health sciences learning model through appropriate use of simulation methodology, ensuring proper operation of infrastructure and supporting faculty development. YOUR KEY CHALLENGES: Implement and supervise simulation across health sciences programs on campus. Support all simulation activities, focusing primarily on technical aspects and maintenance of equipment used in the area; safeguard and manage assets within the clinical simulation area. Manage resources and ensure availability of necessary supplies and consumables (OPEX) for proper execution of practical sessions per established manuals. Update the infrastructure and equipment inventory and report to the Director of Health Sciences and the Vice Rectorship. Implement the faculty and coordinator simulation development plan and report progress. Support the Vice Rectorship in developing corresponding academic documentation. Communicate distinctive features of laboratories under your responsibility to position UVM as a competitive option compared to other universities. PROFILE WE SEEK ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Education: Biomedical Engineering degree; or Bachelor’s degree in General Medicine, Nursing, or Physical Therapy, with a postgraduate degree in Health, Education, or related field. Experience: 1–2 years in programming and maintenance of medical simulators. Proficiency in Office Suite (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Moodle, Blackboard, or Microsoft Teams. DESIRABLE: Experience in global or educational environments. Key competencies: decision-making, negotiation, effective communication, leadership.
