Quality Engineer – Operations (with experience)

Job Summary: Ensure product and process control by implementing continuous improvements and promoting a quality culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure monitoring of product and process control 2. Conduct product analysis, inspection, and testing Job Profile Ensure monitoring of product and process control in accordance with established standards, implementing continuous improvements and fostering a quality culture across the organization. Carry out activities related to product performance analysis, inspection, testing, and reporting within the Quality Assurance department. - Halt processes whenever product quality or worker safety is at risk. - Inspect products according to the control plan. - Inform production personnel of product conformity status during manufacturing. - Ensure proper handling and control of non-conforming products per procedure. - Verify conformity of measurement equipment per schedule. - Conduct audits of production processes and products as per plan. - Identify quality-related risk trends. - Participate in competency development, promoting cross-functionality within operations. Requirements: Education: Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions Knowledge: - Characteristics of plastic materials and additives used in injection molding. - Colorimetry and mixture validation. - Control plan. - Food safety and food defense. - Basic statistical process control. - Operation of measurement equipment. - Problem analysis and resolution. Availability to work rotating shifts Willingness to relocate to the workplace located at Ciudad Industrial Celaya, Gto.
