Join Celaya’s finest hotel—we are seeking a MAINTENANCE OPERATOR with the following responsibilities: Repair or replace items throughout the hotel and refresh room amenities. Staying on top of these tasks ensures our hotel looks excellent and operates smoothly. Organize supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day. Assume responsibility for safety and cleanliness of areas both inside and outside the hotel. Remain vigilant for improvements: follow the preventive maintenance schedule. Keep your supervisor or service manager informed and notify them of any supplies running low. Be prepared to take on additional tasks as needed by the team. Review maintenance issues, guest complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule assignments. Track and inspect assigned work. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment. Inspect the property to identify current and potential needs. Plan and execute appropriate, ongoing maintenance programs. Solicit contractor bids, evaluate proposals, and once contracted, ensure work is completed per specifications. Coordinate with local health, safety, fire, and building inspectors to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Maintain the hotel swimming pool, including chemical balancing and filter cleaning. Complete maintenance records. Maintain the building exterior.
