Follow up on requested spare parts, equipment, and warranties with the involved departments. Coordinate vehicle maintenance, ensuring adequate service quality from external providers. Perform accurate diagnostics on vehicles and determine required internal and external repairs, authorizing service payments and ensuring such payments are timely, correct, and complete. Act responsibly, honestly, and ethically, reporting any deviations in dealings with suppliers and ensuring that procedures for processing supplier invoices are properly followed. Develop, execute, and fulfill on time the preventive maintenance program within the established budget, applicable to assigned vehicles to ensure their proper operation. Coordinate and supervise repair and service operations according to established priorities, aiming to control execution times and work quality to maintain fleet availability. Plan required inputs such as spare parts, services, and fuel for maintenance, ensuring efficient and timely supply in accordance with established regulations. In branches with a warehouse manager, collaborate closely to maintain appropriate stock levels for vehicles. Conduct necessary follow-ups and visits to branches under responsibility to ensure compliance with the vehicle maintenance plan and prevent financial or technical deviations in the fleet. Administer and control the budget allocated for vehicle fleet maintenance. Evaluate fleet maintenance suppliers regarding service, cost, and quality to ensure they meet organizational requirements. Maintain constant communication with the branch manager, reporting progress, deviations in the work program, and any abnormal situations to achieve program compliance. Process vehicle-related fees (e.g., registration, renewals, inspections, registrations, deregistrations) with the relevant authorities. Comply with all standards, guidelines, and procedures of the maintenance department to ensure optimal conditions for both employees and vehicles in the corporate fleet. Assess vehicle conditions and determine the need for fleet removal. Supervise and ensure that workshop tools and equipment for mechanics are in good condition. Ensure timely submission and entry of data into fleet management systems so that this information can be used to calculate performance indicators. If required, conduct tests on vehicles, spare parts, or tires to verify they meet operational needs. Hold periodic meetings with union personnel to report on progress, deviations, and issues concerning the fleet area under responsibility.
