Direct exposure to real international trade operations. **Import Operations Executive** Querétaro \| TRUCA Import \& Export **Job Objective** Ensure efficient tracking and control of import operations by coordinating all involved parties (freight forwarders, customs brokers, international suppliers, and customers), guaranteeing documentary compliance, customs clearance timelines, and correct operational execution. **Responsibilities** * Daily tracking of import operations (ocean, air, and land) * Coordination with: * Freight forwarders * Customs brokers * International suppliers * Customers * Review and validation of documentation: * Commercial invoice * Packing list * Bill of Lading (BL) / Air Waybill (AWB) * Customs entry forms (Pedimentos) * Support in validating information for customs clearance (values, descriptions, INCOTERMS, etc.) * Tracking payment of duties and taxes (IGI, VAT, DTA) * Status control for each operation (internal tracking) * Ongoing communication with customers regarding progress and potential issues * Identification and escalation of operational problems * Integration and control of international trade files **Required Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field * **1–3 years of experience in import operations in Mexico** * Knowledge of the Mexican customs process * Familiarity with customs entry forms (Pedimentos) and international trade documentation * Intermediate English (reading and writing emails) * Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level) **Key Competencies** * Organization and follow-up * Attention to detail * Sense of urgency * Clear communication * Ability to manage multiple operations simultaneously **Important** This is an operational role.
