Opportunity for growth and learning within the area. **Internal Procurement Auditor (Metal Recycling Focus)** Location: Santa Maria Magdalena, Queretaro Department: Audit / Procurement / Internal Control What will you do in this role? You will be a key contributor to ensuring transparency and cost-effectiveness in the procurement of recyclable materials. Your work will directly impact risk detection, cost control, and process improvement across operations. Key Responsibilities * Audit scrap purchases (steel, copper, aluminum, etc.) * Validate pricing and identify deviations * Detect discrepancies between physical weight and system records * Audit supplier payments (including sensitive transactions) * Identify fraud risks or improper practices * Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective actions Candidate Profile * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting * 2–4 years of experience in internal audit, procurement, or inventory management * ERP system experience (Apel, SAE, or similar) preferred * Intermediate or advanced Excel skills Key Competencies * Strong ethical standards and integrity * Attention to detail (especially regarding weights and costs) * Analytical thinking * Ability to detect risks and anomalies * Firm and effective communication * Adherence to the audit plan We Offer * Salary: $20,000 * Statutory benefits * Job stability * Growth opportunities * Learning within the field * Work location: Santa Maria Magdalena, Queretaro.
