**Position:** **Tariff Classifier (Land Operations Matamoros)** **Position Objective:** Perform accurate tariff classification of land operation goods at the Matamoros customs office by conducting technical and documentary analysis of products according to the TIGIE and applicable regulations, ensuring correct assignment of tariff headings to support operational continuity, customs compliance, and efficiency in land import and export processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze technical information, product datasheets, catalogs, and commercial documentation to ensure accurate tariff classification of goods. * Determine and assign tariff headings in accordance with the TIGIE and applicable regulations. * Validate commercial and technical descriptions of land operation goods. * Review customs entry forms (pedimentos) and related documentation to ensure consistency in tariff classification. * Identify non-tariff regulations and restrictions applicable to classified goods. * Maintain an updated internal catalog of tariff headings and classification criteria. * Monitor changes in legislation, explanatory notes, and customs classification criteria. * Respond to internal inquiries regarding tariff classification of goods. * Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of tariff information used in Matamoros operations. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Thursday, 09:00–19:30; Friday, 09:00–20:00.
