Basic knowledge of automotive parts (preferably diesel) Bus Repair Workshop Seeks Purchasing Assistant Job Objective: Ensure timely procurement of spare parts, tools, and supplies required for workshop operations, guaranteeing optimal cost, quality, and delivery time through the use of ERP or inventory control systems. Requirements - 1 to 2 years of purchasing experience (preferably in the automotive industry or mechanical workshops). - ERP system proficiency (e.g., SAP, Odoo, CONTPAQi, or similar). - Experience in inventory control and/or WMS. - Intermediate Excel skills. - Basic knowledge of automotive parts (preferably diesel). - Technical high school diploma or incomplete/completed bachelor’s degree (Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field). Responsibilities - Requesting and comparing quotations. - Generating and tracking purchase orders. - Developing and evaluating suppliers. - Controlling and updating inventory records in the system. - Coordinating with the warehouse for goods receipt. - Validating and controlling invoices. - Assisting with physical inventory counts.
