Job Summary: We are seeking a Tooling Mechanic to ensure optimal operation of tooling and equipment by performing preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. We seek your talent as a **TOOLING MECHANIC**. **General Job Objective:** Ensure the proper operation of tooling and/or equipment through execution of scheduled preventive maintenance, timely response to failures occurring in production processes, and implementation of improvements to equipment or facilities. **Responsibilities:** * Apply preventive maintenance according to established programs and procedures. * Assist in tooling changes as required by production needs. * Reduce energy costs. * Perform corrective maintenance promptly and effectively. * Operate and calibrate electrical machinery and equipment. * Know and apply environmental and safety procedures inherent to the activity or position. * Participate in activities to comply with the occupational safety and health management system. * Comply with requirements of the occupational safety and health management system. **Job Profile** * Educational Level (minimum required): Technical degree or equivalent * Age: 25 years and older * Gender: No preference * Experience (specific functional): 5 years **Desirable: Minimum 3 years in this role.** * Organizational Competencies: * Problem analysis * Openness to change * People development * Quality orientation * Results orientation * Teamwork * Availability to work rotating shifts **Job-Specific Competencies** * Teamwork * Conflict management * Problem solving * Planning * Resource management **Desired Knowledge** * Hydraulic systems * Pneumatic systems * Mechanical transmission systems * Handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste * Knowledge of and compliance with IATF quality management system and ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system * · Knowledge of ISO 45001 standard * · Arc welding, TIG, MIG, and oxyacetylene welding * · Tooling: cold molding, hot molding, vacuum molding, injection molding, manual cutting, semi-automatic cutting, automatic cutting, water jet cutting, cooling molds.
