**Job Objective**
Develop, manage, and keep up to date the database of items, electrical materials, and unit prices within **Neodata**, integrating updated technical information and market-based cost data, in order to prepare reliable, competitive, and profitable budgets for electrical, photovoltaic, and infrastructure projects.
**Desired Knowledge**
· Experience in costing, budgeting, and tendering for electrical projects.
· \-Knowledge of LV, MV, substations, photovoltaics, BESS, industrial and commercial systems.
· Proficiency in Excel, Neodata, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
· Ability to interpret electrical drawings, calculation memoranda, and technical specifications.
**Key Responsibilities**
1\. \-Quantify materials, equipment, and labor based on drawings, calculation memoranda, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
2\. \-Develop item catalogs, generators, unit price matrices (APU), and cost estimates.
3\. \-Prepare technical-economic proposals for tenders, competitions, and EPC, photovoltaic, industrial, commercial, or electrical infrastructure projects.
4\. \-Analyze direct and indirect costs, integrating material, engineering, construction, commissioning, and testing costs.
5\. \-Conduct economic evaluations of electrical systems such as substations, transformers, switchboards, capacitor banks, photovoltaic systems, BESS, conduits, cabling, and electrical protection systems.
6\. \-Create and update databases of prices, productivity rates, labor, and electrical equipment.
7\. \-Identify value engineering opportunities and economic optimization measures without compromising safety, quality, or regulatory compliance.
8\. \-Analyze costs associated with conduits, cable trays, grounding systems, lighting, power, control, and electrical distribution.
9\. \-Review contracts and technical scopes to identify economic risks and cost-saving opportunities.
10\. \-Participate in public and private tender processes, ensuring technical and economic compliance.
11\. \-Integrate budgets for photovoltaic systems, CFE interconnections, substations, and electrical switchboards.
Work Location: Polanco
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Salary: $12,000\.00 \- $16,000\.00 per month
Experience:
* Electrical cost engineer with Neodata experience: 2 years (Mandatory)
