JOB DESCRIPTION Supervise operational and administrative activities of the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Inspection System at inspection sites, with the objective of strengthening emerging animal health measures under the National Animal Health Emergency Device (DINESA), to prevent the spread of cattle grubworm. JOB REQUIREMENTS University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, Biology, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields. Minimum two (2\) years of experience in similar positions. Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES \* Collaborate in the management and response to sanitary emergencies, in accordance with established protocols. \* Assist in reviewing supporting documentation submitted with animal cargoes, verifying compliance with applicable regulatory provisions governing their movement. \* Conduct physical inspection of animals, evaluating them on both sides of the handling chute and examining all body parts, with special attention to detecting wounds, injuries, or presence of myiasis. \* Register in the Integrated Verification and Inspection Points System (SIPVI) or in the Daily Inspection Record (RDI) form the corresponding information for inspected cargoes, as well as data contained in the Zoosanitary Movement Certificate (CZM) and other supporting documents, in accordance with current regulations governing animal movement.
