Collaborate in developing technical solutions for processes and products We are looking for an Innovation Technician to join the SL MEX SLP team. We are an automotive-sector company with over 70 years of history, established in various parts of the world (Korea, China, Brazil, United States, Germany, India, Poland, and soon in Mexico); we supply HYUNDAI, KIA, GM, and BMW. Job Objective: Support the development, construction, and maintenance of prototypes, tools, and equipment by applying knowledge in cutting, welding, carpentry, and facility maintenance to ensure efficiency and quality in innovation projects. Main Responsibilities: - Design, assemble, and maintain innovation prototypes and projects. - Operate cutting, welding, carpentry tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facilities. - Collaborate with the innovation team in developing technical solutions for processes and products. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and execution times. - Ensure all activities comply with industrial safety and quality standards. Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of experience handling cutting, welding, carpentry tools, and light machinery. - Knowledge of facility maintenance. - Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications. - Proactivity, creativity, and capability to solve technical problems. - Knowledge of industrial safety standards. Education: Technical degree in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Innovation, or related field.
