Access professional development and career advancement opportunities. **Job Title:** Calibration Technician III **Location:** Zapopan, Jal, MX **About the Role:** As a Calibration Technician III, you will perform advanced calibrations, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. You’ll work both onsite and in service centers, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other quality standards. This role is ideal for experienced technicians seeking to deepen their expertise and contribute to a high\-performance calibration team. **Key Responsibilities:** Perform moderate to high\-complexity calibrations across multiple disciplines (e.g., General Purpose Electronics, Physical/Dimensional, RF, Biomedical). Conduct preventative maintenance and basic repairs on customer and internal equipment. Create and review calibration data sheets and uncertainty budgets with minimal supervision. Ensure accurate data entry into calibration management systems. Perform final inspections and quality checks on completed work. Interface directly with customers to resolve service issues and provide technical guidance. Lead or support onsite calibration events and field service visits. Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025 and internal quality management system procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, visual management, scheduling optimization). Train and mentor junior technicians as needed. **Qualifications:** **Required:** 4–6 years of calibration experience in a commercial or military metrology environment. Strong understanding of calibration principles and alternate methods. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and calibration software platforms. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for onsite service and training. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. **Preferred:** Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, metrology, or related field. Military PMEL/TMDE training.
