Maintenance of warehouse order and safety The **warehouse assistant** is the operational responsible party for ensuring the proper flow of materials and products, supporting receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipment of goods. **1\. Key Responsibilities** Daily tasks for this position include: * **Receiving and Inspection:** Verify that received goods match invoices or shipping documents, inspecting their physical condition. * **Inventory Management:** Conduct cyclic counts, report discrepancies, and update entries and exits in digital or manual systems. * **Storage and Organization:** Label, classify, and place products on shelves or racks according to rotation criteria such as **FIFO** (First In, First Out). * **Order Fulfillment (Picking/Packing):** Pick requested materials, pack them appropriately, and prepare them for shipment or internal delivery. * **Loading and Unloading:** Manually handle materials or use equipment (hydraulic pallet jacks or forklifts) to load/unload onto transport units. * **Area Maintenance:** Ensure warehouse order, cleanliness, and safety to prevent accidents.
