Generates new product codes or line extensions for existing products. Conducts product performance testing. Serves as the liaison between production and Customer Service. Develops process documentation and product specifications. Collects performance data and generates statistical analyses. **Our Core Values:** * Customer First: We deliver extraordinary experiences. * Accountability: We do what we say. * Integrity: We do what is right. * Inspired: We love what we do. * A Global Team: We before I—always. **What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)** * Acts as the manufacturing liaison for new product engineering. * Responsible for analyzing process issues and communicating/implementing suggested improvements with the department supervisor and Engineering. * Implements new manufacturing equipment, tools, fixtures, accessories, and processes. * Coordinates manufacturing process changes with affected departments. * Provides technical information to other departments as applicable regarding manufacturing processes. * Tracks first-run production of new products through manufacturing operations to ensure desired outcomes and conducts product performance testing as required by Customer Service or the customer. * Generates new product codes or line extensions for existing products. * Evaluates unit processes, upgrade techniques, quality, and overall efficiency. * May collaborate with Engineering in designing special-purpose machinery and equipment for the product line. * Provides guidance and advice to the Quality Control Department regarding manufacturing equipment capabilities relative to desired quality. * Provides technical support to the Quality Control Department to resolve customer complaints. * Provides technical support to the Quality Control Department to resolve customer complaints. * Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Prepares requisitions for appropriate tools to accommodate the introduction of new products into manufacturing. * Initiates and implements cost reduction/process improvement initiatives in collaboration with respective departments and/or functions. * Assists in implementing the Quality Awareness Program—focusing on process rather than inspection. * Researches and selects new equipment and methods. **What You’ll Need (Requirements)** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred. * **English:** Advanced proficiency. * Advanced knowledge of mechanical design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD). * Knowledge of mechatronic systems (electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical). * Knowledge of PLC programming (Keyence, Omron, Allen Bradley, Koyo, Mitsubishi). * Knowledge of structured programming software for industrial applications (LabVIEW, C#, Java, C++). * Basic knowledge of machining and CNC. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to make objective observations. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Solid analytical and statistical skills. * Ability to develop projects from inception to completion. * Pragmatic and logical mindset for problem solving
