**Supervisor IT** **Summary** Responsible for the planning and supervision of the NA IT technical team. ATF 16949 / BIQS ISO14001 ISO18001 * All ILSA employees thrive by acquiring new knowledge. * Every aspect of the company is deeply rooted in safety initiatives; we are proud to be a reliable company always seeking continuous improvement. * At ILSA we are a professional, motivated and committed team. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements at the facility's geographic location and: * The Global Operating System (Global Operating System); * Maintain balance between customer, employee, and financial satisfaction by maximizing facilities/departments. * Performance indicators aligned with Linamar’s Success Strategy. * Support and maintain departmental optimization initiatives as established in LPS system requirements. * Comply with department 5S requirements. * Ensure implementation of Linamar IT standards and policies across North America facilities. * Plan, maintain, and supervise network hardware and software, servers, storage, backups, phone systems, and wireless networks. * Ensure network security and efficiency through proper use of servers, storage, firewalls, network architecture, monitoring and control tools. * Optimize networks, seeking maximum availability and best possible response times. * Use appropriate network management tools to monitor operations and resolve issues efficiently. Manage projects according to Linamar IT project management procedures, ensuring timely execution within budget. * Establish annual IT capital and operating expense budgets. * Ensure the team maintains proper hardware and software inventories and licenses, distributing them as needed. * Ensure proper system documentation. * Ensure maintenance of the disaster recovery plan. * Track and analyze trends in ticketing system requests and generate statistical reports. * Ensure applicable SLAs are met at all times **.** * Analyze, troubleshoot, and perform on-site repairs as necessary. * Visit Linamar Europe facilities and provide support as needed. * Supervise and maintain hardware and software updates to prevent vulnerabilities. * Support implementation of new hardware and software. * Train IT staff on network policies and procedures to support end users. * Define, create, and maintain reports, and ensure their proper distribution. * Recommend organizational and process improvements to the team or the IT department overall. * Implement efficient processes to reduce costs and improve IT productivity at Linamar. * Attend training seminars and trade shows to expand knowledge of current and future technologies and issues **.** **Minimum Requirements** * English language proficiency * A diploma/degree from a recognized university or equivalent experience is required. * A university diploma is preferred. * More than 7 years of experience required in the following: * Advanced knowledge of installing and administering the current version of Windows desktop operating system. * Advanced knowledge of installing the current version of Microsoft Office. * Advanced knowledge of administering and implementing the current version of Windows Server operating system. * Knowledge of implementing and administering Hyper\-V server. * Extensive experience with desktops, laptops, and servers (preferably Dell). * In-depth networking knowledge (preferably Extreme Networks). * Experience using a ticketing system. **Desired Qualifications** * A valid network certification is preferred.
