Implementation of improvements and root cause analysis **Job Brief** ------------- Diagnosis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems **CONTROL AND AUTOMATION ENGINEER** ----------------------------------------- #### **JOB MISSION** Maintain plant equipment, machinery, and facilities in optimal working condition through diagnosis, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated systems to achieve production objectives while ensuring safe operation and product quality. #### **JOB SCOPE** * Definition of control and automation requirements. * PLC programming, administration, and updating, and HMI development for thermal and mechanical process automation and control. * Interpretation of electrical and control diagrams. * Implementation of improvements and/or upgrades to equipment and machinery, including development and implementation of error-proofing devices (poka-yokes). * Plan, schedule, assign, and supervise daily activities of assigned personnel. * Participate in improvement teams and/or analysis groups. * Develop and participate in Root Cause Analysis events to eliminate recurring issues (80/20\) and implement corrective actions derived from such analyses. #### **REQUIREMENTS** * Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field aligned with maintenance. * Knowledge of process automation systems and equipment, quality systems, and continuous improvement programs. * Experience using a CMMS system (SAP preferred). * Bilingual communication skills. * Minimum 3 years of experience in: + PLCs + HMIs + Vision systems
