




**Position Objective:** Ensure that raw materials and produced R\-PET film meet internal quality standards, safety regulations, and food-grade requirements, guaranteeing process efficiency and customer satisfaction. **Requirements:** **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Desired: courses in quality control, ISO 9001 standards, GMP, and laboratory management. **Experience:** * Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing or polymer/plastic production companies, preferably with PET or R\-PET. * Experience in quality control, laboratory operations, or process audits. **Technical Knowledge:** * Evaluation and control of **raw materials** (preform, bottle flake, and regrind) and **finished product** (film). * Extrusion processes for PET and R\-PET film. * Physical, mechanical, and optical properties: thickness, transparency, impact resistance, flexibility. * Moisture control, intrinsic viscosity (IV), and melt flow index (MFI). * Operation of laboratory instruments: * **Thickness and geometry:** digital micrometers, Vernier calipers, laser gauges. * **Optical properties:** colorimeter (e.g., X\-Rite), light transmission meter. * **Mechanical properties:** impact testing machines (Charpy/Izod), flex testers, durometers. * **Thermal and flow properties:** Melt Flow Indexer (MFI), viscometers, ovens, and dryers. * **Moisture and contaminants:** moisture analyzers, magnifiers/microscopes. * **Additional equipment:** analytical balance, mixers, laboratory ovens, and refrigerators. * Food hygiene and safety standards, sampling procedures, inspection, and quality documentation. **Skills and Competencies:** * Attention to detail and analytical ability. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Leadership and personnel supervision. * Ability to implement process improvements. * Handling of quality documentation and reports. **Desirable Competencies:** * Technical English for interpretation of manuals and specifications. * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
