Junior Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Gómez Palacio, Dgo. \| Industry: Metalworking Type: Full-time \| Level: Jr./Entry Objective Ensure that raw materials, processes, and final products comply with drawings, specifications, and ISO 9001:2015 procedures. Key Responsibilities * Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections against drawings and acceptance criteria. * Measure and record results using tape measure and caliper; basic use of micrometer and gauges (desirable). * Monitor compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. * Maintain lot traceability, forms, and photographic evidence. * Release first articles, validate changes, and escalate critical deviations. * Verify the status of measurement equipment and request calibration when applicable. * Comply with 5S and floor safety requirements. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field. 0–2 years experience (internships count). * Ability to read drawings and tolerances (basic GD\&T desirable). * Proficiency with measurement instruments (tape measure, caliper). * Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, document control, and non-conformance management. * Experience using Excel/Sheets for reporting and simple analysis. * Availability for floor work and direct interaction with Production.
